Thanks to her … Sylvie Bédard

Today we’re talking about Sylvie Bédard, an employee who’s celebrating her 25 years with us this year. She started out in programming at PIREL and soon became a project manager. Back in those days (yes, in the last century), project managers were responsible for the end-to-end delivery of our electronic forms solutions. So, from the intake of needs to the installation on laser printers to PostScript programming, they did everything and more. 😊

Sylvie has evolved with PIREL, adapting brilliantly, and it’s thanks to her, among other things, that several of our flagship projects have been successfully delivered and are still in production today. Incidentally, it was Sylvie who won the competition to name our main product Sisalto^® (which means “content” in Finnish) when it was launched.

Sylvie is now Director of Customer Relations and Business Development. If you know her, you know that her talents shine in this role, and that she’s synonymous with empathy, versatility and determination.

There’s so much more we could say about Sylvie after these 25 years, but we’ll conclude for now by saying that she is without question a pillar of PIREL, and a constant in our great equation which, through her, has lead to our successes.
