EFS Server™ Modules
EFS Server™ Modules
The modular design of the PIREL suite makes scaling easy. You can install what you need now, and add modules to increase the functionality of the server as your requirements evolve.
EFS Server™ Core Module
The PIREL EFS Server™ Core Module allows business documents such as invoices, bills, reports, and so forth to be indexed and archived in an SQL database. Access over a corporate network is made easy with PIREL DocFinder™. A complete set of system administration tools are packaged with the core module. These tools are used to manage user profiles, create security policies, control access to documents, view server logs, and define other configuration settings for the server.
Additional modules are added to the core module as needed:
- EFS™ Server
Composition Module
Provides all of the features needed to create and publish seamless electronic documents of all kinds. Data, from an enterprise or departmental application, is captured and indexed, and a PDF document is generated. The module provides powerful functionality for archiving, retrieving, and distributing documents.
- EFS™ Web Server
Module
Enhances the capabilities of the PIREL EFS™ Server Module by providing full-featured web access. Documents are viewed over the Internet or an intranet using the PIREL Web-DocFinder™ search tool and a standard web browser.
- EFS™ Distribution
Manager Module
Automates the distribution of documents to employees, customers, and business partners. With this module, workflow within the enterprise can be greatly improved by directing documents to a printer, a fax server, a workstation via email, or even a third party application.
- EFS™ Imaging Module
Allows your enterprise to scan, index, and archive paper documents of all kinds for permanent and secure electronic storage. The module's architecture is remarkably flexible and can be integrated with the standard scanning platforms currently on the market.
- EFS™ e-Signature
Module
Allows electronic documents such as bills of lading or invoices to be signed, and archived in the database. With this tool, the enterprise can easily and rapidly provide customers or other business divisions with signed documents of confirmation or authorization.
EFS™ Printer Composition Module
This stand-alone module allows seamless electronic document creation. The PIREL Composition Engine is installed on the printer. It receives an unformatted datastream from any enterprise application. The datastream is processed, and the document is formatted including all company logos, fonts, and images. This real-time offline processing of documents results in smaller traffic and optimal printer performance.
PIREL EFS™ Light Bundle
The PIREL EFS™ Light Bundle is specifically designed for companies with revenue less than $200 million. With this bundle you get everything you need to make the most of document management technologies in one economical package.With the PIREL EFS™ Light Bundle you will be able to:
- Index and electronically archive business documents of all kinds.
