Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions
for the financial, insurance, warehousing, distributing,
and educational sectors among others. These solutions
include document management, report and records
management, imaging, workflow, and publishing
and printing of electronic forms.

Below is a brief description of the departments at PIREL and the nature of the positions that come available.
Finance
- Maintaining, reviewing, and analyzing financial
documents, planning budgets, managing payrolls,
and preparing government reports
Human Resources
- Interviewing, evaluating, and hiring
employees, and maintaining and informing employees
of company policies
MIS
- In-depth knowledge of major Network Operating
Systems (NOS) including Windows NT/2000, NetWare,
and various UNIX distributions
- Maintaining and safeguarding the company’s
network using best security practices, maintaining
backups, monitoring systems, participating in
the creation of development tools and strategic
marketing demos
- Assisting PIREL development and support
staff in the installation of NOS, the PIREL Suite,
and supporting applications for internal and customer
systems
Marketing
- Technical writing: Developing case studies,
web site content, newsletters, user guides, and
promotional material
- Graphic design: Designing images, diagrams,
artwork for logos, newsletter layouts, business
forms, and other graphical material
- Management: Developing marketing strategies
to promote PIREL's solutions
Research and Development
- Software development using Object Oriented
languages
- Web Development using CGI, Perl, JavaScript,
HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS
Professional Services
- Identifying customer needs and resolving
issues
- Implementing PIREL’s ECM solutions
- Scheduling and planning, quality control,
and providing customer support
Quality Assurance
- Monitoring and improving processes
- Ensuring that agreed-upon standards and
procedures are followed

Internships
PIREL internships offer students
an opportunity to apply academic
knowledge and gain practical
experience in a real-world working environment.
With the support and guidance of a supervisor, our interns
develop a project plan, implement the plan, and
submit a written report to PIREL.
